Melissa Taunton

Melissa Taunton serves as Muskogee Technology’s Shipping/Receiving Team Leader. Ms. Taunton started her career at Vector Aerospace as a parts room clerk; moved to Purchasing, then was promoted to oversee all purchasing, shipping, and receiving functions. During her tenure at Vector Aerospace she oversaw special projects, government contacts, DMOD, bid preparation, maintenance of all requirements for Avionics departments, site visits for vendor audits and managed the Bell Helicopter account purchases. Taunton produced $35 million in sales as part of a contract with the Brazilian government.

She later worked for Heliworks, and DynCorp International as Purchaser, then Manager of Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving. Her responsibilities included maintaining a warehouse for parts sales and purchases and inventory control as well as purchasing and maintaining inventory for 145/135 Repair Station.

She joined the Muskogee Technology team in 2018 and currently resides in Atmore, Alabama.
